DURING these dogs are known as animals that can be a good friend of human. Now, according to recent research, it is known that dogs can reduce stress levels and behavior problems in children with autism.
Scientists from the University of Montreal found that a dog that has been trained specifically to reduce the level of anxiety in children with autism significantly.
The study results have been published in the journal Psychoneuroendocrinology edition October 2010 also found that dogs are able to develop the social skills of children with autism. This course is very beneficial because children with autism often find it difficult to fight and understand the feelings of others.
Companion dogs can be a very simple solution to helping children with autism and their families face the difficult conditions. Lead researcher Dr Sonia Lupien said, "The results of our study have shown that dogs have a very clear effect on stress hormone levels of children. I never seen like this before dramnastis effect," I'm Dr. Lupien.
